Ramsgate was the venue for the 1971 summer season of the Clem VIckery Vellum Stompers.  The venue was the Dixieland Show Bar which was previously the Royal Victoria Hotel on Harbour Parade, Ramsgate.  The band played most evenings with some lunchtime shows and if the weather was fine they were outside on the rooftop bar.  The season was a good opportunity to get to know the area around Ramsgate, including Broadstairs and Margate.  John is on the left.
